After an accident near the M1 in West Yorkshire, motorist Mr Milner needed expert legal advice and assistance to help him to pursue a claim for personal injuries compensation against the driver of the vehicle responsible for causing the crash. Mr Milner's claim was handled by solicitor Marie Donnelly, an experienced member of the Camps staff who has spent many years fighting for the victims of non fault accidents and injuries.
Mr Milner's accident took place at the junction between the busy M1 motorway and the A638, on the outskirts of the city of Wakefield in West Yorkshire. Mr Milner was attempting to join the flow of traffic on the roundabout at the road junction when another driver drove into the rear of his vehicle. The impact of this collision injured Mr Milner, causing him to suffer Whiplash type injuries to his neck and back.
When Camps Solicitors took on Mr Milner's case, we immediately set to work assembling his claim for personal injury compensation. A home visit from one of our client liaison officers was arranged so that Mr Milner would have a chance to get help filling in the forms necessary to proceed with his claim. Marie also arranged for Mr Milner to receive a private medical examination from a specialist doctor. The evidence from this medical exam was used to form the basis of Mr Milner's compensation claim.
Thanks to the work put in by Marie and the team at Camps Solicitors, Mr Milner's claim was successful. He received £2,630 in compensation claims for his injuries. Speaking after he had received his compensation cheque, Mr Milner commented on the service he had received from Camps Solicitors:
"Camps Solicitors were fantastic, especially Marie who kept me informed constantly of any developments. Camps Solicitors were very professional and I would not hesitate in recommending them in future."
