John Dove, a Paralegal in the occupational illness team at Your Legal Friend, has proven he has an impressive way with words and won the coveted Association of Speakers Clubs South Pennine Area Impromptu Speech Competition.
The impromptu speech competition on Sunday 15th November gave participants a couple of seconds to prepare a three minute speech. Representing Liverpool, John presented and won speaking on the topic of ‘Vision’ and will now be going on to represent Liverpool at the district competition early next year.
John competed against the winners from the internal competitions at all other clubs in the area which included Stockport, South Manchester, North Cheshire, Warrington and Peterloo.
John Dove, Paralegal at Your Legal Friend said: “Winning at the ASC is a great personal achievement and going forward, I feel incredibly privileged to be representing Liverpool in the district competition.”
