Broken Nose Injury Claim of £15,000

Man with broken nose
14th May 2014

Camps Solicitors - the Merseyside based road accident specialists – have recovered compensation for a young motorist after she was involved in a nasty car accident that wasn’t her fault. Our client, Kimberly, received £15,000 in personal injury compensation after her case was taken on by our solicitor Ged Jones.

Kimberly’s accident happened as she was driving near the town of Coggleshall in Essex. The driver of an oncoming car in the opposite lane lost control of her vehicle and it crossed over into the path of Kimberly’s car. Before she had time to react, Kimberly’s car was hit head-on by that of the other driver. In the crash, Kimberly suffered several injuries, including a broken nose and injuries to her neck and shoulders.

Camps took on Kimberly’s compensation claim, our solicitor Ged Jones made sure Kimberley got the best possible settlement of £15,000, increasing the amount she received by £2,500 from the insurer’s original offer of £12,500. As part of her claim, Kimberly also benefitted from a medical consultation with a doctor at a local hospital. At the consultation she was advised of her options for treatment of the injury to her nose, including plastic surgery to correct the shape of her nose.

After her claim had finished, Kimberly kindly agreed to make a few comments on her case to Camps. This is what she had to say:

"Ged Jones approached my case with the patience and professionalism I came to expect from him. Having been further victimized by the way in which the other party dealt with the accident, he put my case forward to a registered charity working with the BBC to warn others of the corrupt way in which some parties deal with road traffic accidents.

Ged stayed in regular touch by email and letter, providing advice and frequent updates, and I am extremely grateful for all his hard work throughout this difficult time. I would recommend Camps Solicitors to anyone, and would like to thank Ged and his team for the outcome of the case."
